First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia H.E. Mr. Ivica Dačić held talks with his counterpart, Foreign Minister of Czech Republic H.E. Mr. Lubomir Zaoralek, during the official visit to Czech Republic on September 15, 2015. H.E. Mr. Ivica Dačić also talked to the President of the Senate H.E. Mr. Milan Štech and Prime Minister of Czech Republic H.E. Mr. Bohuslav Sobotka.
 
 
 
 
H.E. Mr. Ivica Dačić emphasized the importance of traditional friendly relations between two countries and pointed to the recently realized visit of Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka to Republic of Serbia, where the emphasis was on economic cooperation. It was stated that there is considerable scope for improving cooperation in the energy and transport infrastructure. Czech Republic has confirmed its support for Serbia's European integration process and reiterated its readiness to assist as soon as EU opens negotiating chapters.
 
In connection with the migration crisis, it was pointed out that Serbia is a transit country and that over 140.000 migrants already through it.
